With the hours counting down to the match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Harambee Stars of Kenya, Nigerians are looking forward to nothing other than a win; not just a win but one with an avalanche of goals.
The Kenyans too are determined not to be caught napping - if feelers coming from their camp are anything to go by.
Antoine Hey, Harambee Stars coach has been saying his team is going to surprise the Super Eagles today in Abuja. He says they must get at least four points from the matches against Nigeria and Mozambique, meaning at the very worst, the eagles must get at least a draw from this evening’s match.
But if the recent run of form of the Nigerian team in the last nine days- a draw against Ireland, and a win against former world champions, France, is anything to go buy then the Kenyan team are in for a beating today;because for Nigeria to have a realistic chance of qualifying for the Mundial at South Africa in 2010 they must win convincingly.
