The Project Manager, Mansur Suleiman, made the announcement on Tuesday in Yola while conducting round the House of Representatives Committee on States and Local Government Affairs, led by its chairman, Emmanuel Adedeji.
Mr. Suleiman said the state government had spent N350 million out of the amount on the renovation and construction of eight projects at the state School of Nursing and Midwifery in Yola and the School of Health Technology, Mubi.
He said the remaining N650 million will be spent on furnishing the schools. Mr. Suleiman explained that the schools failed accreditation in the last 15 years because they lacked the necessary facilities.
