Ribadu in surprise visit to Gani's family

Print print Email email Share Share

lt was total mayhem at the home of late Gani Fawehinmi late Thursday when a surprise visitor came calling.

Nuhu Ribadu, former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, arrived at the residence at about 6.30pm dressed in a white Babanriga and a black skullcap accompanied by his lawyer, Femi Falana. He went straight to speak with the late lawyer's spouses and children.

After his 15 minutes discussion with the family, Mr. Ribadu signed the condolence register. He wrote in about 10 lines, saying he came to pay his last respect to a great Nigerian who fought genuinely for the poor, and to express gratitude to a man who "shaped my life by the example of a worthy living." When a journalist sought his views about the state of the nation, and about his time at Oxford University in the U.K. where he is completing a fellowship at St. Anthony's College, Mr. Ribadu said, "It's absolutely not about me that we are here today gentlemen. It's about a man who showed great example in sacrifice and selflessness. That is why I am here and kindly do let us keep it to that.

As he sought to leave, other mourners turned into a cheering crowd seeking a photo opportunity with him and damaging his car as he tried to evade the surging admirers.

From the house, Mr. Ribadu along with the Fawehinmi's drove to the mortuary where the remains of Mr. Fawehinmi laid at the Lekan Ogunsola Memorial Home at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.

At the mortuary, flanked by Gani's two wives, and about half a dozen children, Mr. Ribadu moved towards the corpse which was being dressed as they entered and, touching it, started saying a silent prayer asking God to "forgive Mr. Fawehinmi's sins, as we seek a passage for him to paradise."
Mr. Ribadu added in heavy voice: "Here you lay quiet and gentle, and for all that will secure you easy path to the realm of the anointed, let Allah place a blessing today."

While in the mortuary, news of his presence had spread, attracting a large crowd at the gate, making it difficult to leave easily.

Many stretched their hands to touch him, others seeking autographs. "It is a proper thing for him to do" Mr. Falana said of his client's visit, adding that "Ribadu and Gani were like father and son and there was no way he would be at peace with himself not to say the final good bye."

After leaving the hospital, Mr. Ribadu then drove off towards the Murtala Muhammed airport.

Mr. Ribadu was dismissed from the police on 23 December 2008 in a controversial decision by the Nigerian Police Service Commission. He is currently on a fellowship at Saint Antony's College at the Oxford University in the United Kingdom.

Ribadu aka "James Bond". Hope you are back at base before they set the hungry wolves on you. Nigeria is a Joke. See how Ribadu did a “maradona” apology IBB or did you use "African Magic"? Just joking. You went, saw and you conquered. You are true patriot. You should have dropped in to see your twin brother Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. I wish you can do a "collabo" and teach all the pen robbers in Nigeria a lesson. Kudos to you.

God Bless Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. You are a true legend.

A brave and courageous move worthy of tribute to a our fallen hero, a true Nigerian. I have been unable to mourn the death of Gani since the news broke. I am at a great loss. Words cannot express. The silence in my heart says it all. I am only truly worried for a Nigeria without the 'Prisoner of Gashua' but I take solace in the sure belief that it shall be well with our dear country. There is a silent and divine revolution taking place already. The die is cast. Its just a matter of time. As for the award of national honours that Gani rejected last year, I dare say that he would be at peace when he will be awarded posthumously (very soon) by the new awards committee made up of men of integrity such as Christopher Kolade. The GCON is the least he should be awarded, that is if they say that GCFR is only for presidents. Don't worry Nuhu Ribadu. Our time is coming soon. Very soon. Things are already happening but they are not seeing because they are not worthy and are blinded by their greed and lust for evil. Your visit to pay your last respect was at the risk of your own life but you made the move nonetheless. Go well our brother, and prepare to come back to take your command position. It is well.

To the true people's hero, Gani: May God grant you eternal rest. To a true Nigerian patriot, Ribadu: Good to read of your visit. Keep the faith and never let personal anger lead you into saying or doing things against this country which many of us know you love passionately. The pretenders can never be you. Enough said.

Yea, Mr Ribadu was an icon and a man who fought against corruption, but that Gorilla used you to fight against his opponents and you succumbed to his way.that was your only fault besides that you are true example of a patriotic Nigerian, but we know your are also a sadist. Anyway, good luck.

Posted by Frank ( London) on Sep 11 2009

So Ribadu was a "sadist" and was "only used" against his master's opponents ????? This comment from a man who calls himself a royal highness (evidently one of them) is the most stupid and thoughtless response to Ribadu's visit to Gani's family. And if I may ask how many of those thieves that Ribadu staked his life to fight were innocent? Name them. The mass of the people of Nigeria know their own heroes, Gani was one and Ribadu was one of his annointed aposstles and by his visit to the berieved's family, at the risk of his safety and life, Gani would be proud in heaven.

Posted by Dante on Sep 11 2009

Allwell Okpi, that aint a skullcap. Good to See Nuhu's face in the public again. I believe his time would come in Nigeria again.

Posted by Vic on Sep 11 2009

Gani and Ribadu have some things in common. They were (are) united against evil. They fought relentlessly for a better Nigeria, which, even though is yet to materialise, will come someday. like Adeyi Ode said, a silent resolution is taking place in Nigeria right now, and this will come full cycle someday soon. The evil men holding this nation hostage will suffer.

RIBADU IS NO HERO! All through his years at the EFCC, Ribadu only prosecuted Southern and Christian persons. Not one Fulani politician or public servant did he prosecute. Remember how Ribadu hounded Adenuga out of the country while his brother Dangote was making deals all over the place. Ribadu only used Falani and Gani Fahehinmi by wooing them to his side so that they would not oppose his gestapo style which is patently unlawful because he knows the two are only ones with credibility to influence public opinion. That style is what the EFCC is using now to turn the banking industry upside down. NIGERIANS, WISE UP!

Like it or not, Nigeria will never forget Nuhu; a man of courage. The most idiotic Nigerisn lawyer; Aandoaka has no imprint in the sands of time, him and his financier Ibori are doomed to meet an ignoble end.

Mr Wole, your thinking is so shallow. Mr Gani has played his own part, the rest is left for you and me. You can chose to go with the sick notions that Ribadu is this and that. can you hear yourself saying Ribadu "only used" Gani. Everyone knows that Gani fought injustice and corruption whether they were OBJ's enemies or not. Do you think Gani was blind to the people Ribadu prosecuted and that he did not know who they were in the society? The point is that Corruption must be fought and that was exactly why Gani stood by him. I am proud of Mr Fawehinmi. I am proud of Mallam Ribadu who dared the jaws of his detractors to pay his last respect. We believe in Nigeria as much as you do, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. There is still hope for this country. RIP Gani. Ribadun is a charlattan. The fact that Gani proclaimed him a hero does not necessarily make him so. Gani was very human and not infallible. Ribadu was a willing tool in the hands of Obasanjo. He was never interested in fighitng corruption and never did. If you insist he fought corruption, then we must also agree that Abacha fought corruption. And Farida too.

I do not care wether a thief caught is Yellow, white or red. What matters is wether he actaully stole. The question should be wether those your southern Christians solied there hands or not. If they do which is the case in most cases, then they ought to face the music. Ribadu's campaign if not anything succeeded in highlighting the cdangers of corruption and today all that gain has gone done the drain. Nigeria is the looser.

Now, nothing can be more dignifying. @ Wole, like someone said, if southerners were prosecuted by Ribadu, the fact remains that these people were corrupt. They have never accomplished in their lives and therefore cannot appreciate accomplishment. It gladdens the heart that Ribadu visited to honor Gani. A hero sharpens another hero... May God bless and protect Ribadu, and use him as an instrument of change. If Ribadu runs for Presidency nobody can rig it or we burn up this nation. Its time for the youths of Nigeria to arise and be ready to cease their destiny!! May Gani's fiery soul now find some rest in the far beyond.

Ribadu, you are a honourble and courageous man. Though you are declared wanted by the authority, you found it expedient to pay his last respect to his friend. Remember, Ribadu a northerner paying respect to a southerner. This shows that every good deed done transcends ethnicity and this it is applauded. It is only when the legislooters are short changed or the Chief Bonkers (bankers) are exposed that we start playing the ethnicity card. This is a man, that risk everything to be with his friend's family. Some of these Chief Bonkers will not even come home to pay last respect to their mother, dadddy or wife in such circumstances. Secondly, Ribadu's visit have shown what we already know that Nigeria border is porous, that our border control cannot manage migration. If Ribadu, a well known personality can enter Nigeria without being arrested, then, it is either he was not declared wanted or the border patrols cannot identify him. Whatever the circumstances, Ribadu's action should be commended by all Nigerians as true example of friendship.

RIBADU IS A FALSE HERO It's true that Ribadu was very selective in the cases that he pursued at the EFCC. For example, the scandal of Pentascope, which managed NITEL for some time and stole more than 1 billion dollars from the company. The weight of evidence, provided by the then House Committee on Telecommunication and which was supported by the Netherlands government was enough to prosecute those behind the company. But becase they're Fulanis like Ribadu, the EFCC didn't do anything. Again, Agric minister Bello awarded fertaliser contracts worth more than 50 billion naira to his friends and family at highly inflated prices. Again the Senate Committee chaired by Senator Bode Olowoporoku provided enough evidence. Ribadu again refused to prosecute. When Ribadu was confronted on the new cases in 2006, he said he had the right to choose which cases to prosecute. Imagine that kind of answer! Selective justice is injustice. Ribadu is a false hero.

Please explain how a supposed corrupt man like Uba and Ribadu became so close?

Ribadu paved the way for Yar’Adua to become president. He used the EFCC to hunt down anybody that he felt had a chance to succeed Obasanjo. That’s why he waited until the eve of the PDP Convention in 2006 to release his exposé on Odilli’s alleged corrupt practices. Rufai has said in several interviews that he and Ribadu brought Yar’Adua to power and he has turned out to be ungrateful to them. Nigerians must develop the culture of critical analysis. Ribadu was not the anti-corruption hero people make him out to be. He was part of the system. What of the houses he is said to own in Abuja and Dubai? He claimed he collected a loan of 200 million naira from Fidelity Bank to buy the Abuja home while denying that he has any property in Dubai. But what collateral did he provide as a public servant to be able to secure a 200 million naira bank loan?

I disliked Ribadu because he behaved arroganntly to the rule of law,and allowed the former president to use him and the efcc to truncate the ambition of many politicians. But his brave appearance to pay his last respect to Chief Gani Fawehinmi has softened my mind about him.i salute him and Gani.

If a charlattan like Ribadu is considered as hero by the rabble on the internet then Nigeria is irredeemably doomed. It is a great insult on the memory of Gani that a despot and friend/accomplice of the rogues in power (RIPs) such as Ribadu is being equated to him (ie, Gani). May God open your eyes to the fake/counterfeit called Ribadu.

I suggest the likes of Wole 2 read the history of conflict generated from ethnic and religious hatred, the 1994 genocide of Rwanda is a perfect example. To reverberate what most ppl wrote, Ribadu was not ethnically bias what about late former mins of internal affairs Mohammed Shata, Dariye and Atiku, despite that OBJ was using it for his political persecution was not entirely on a particular section of the country. It's so painful at this age 4 someone (Like wole) try 2 be little our common sense just as our political leaders have been doing by using the ethnic and religious card rather than integrity and competence mostly when it comes to elections. The legacy we have to leave for GANI is to be GANI in ourselves. By resisting oppression that's the only way we can hope 4 a better nation.

DON’T USE SOUTHERN NAMES It’s okay if some netters don’t want to use their real names. But it’s morally wrong and in fact amounts to fraud for Muslim Northerners (mostly Fulanis) to use Christian Southern names to mask their regional or ethnic origin to cause moral confusion about their view. Imagine one above calling himself Uche Olotu! Use names from your ethnic group so that we call properly situate your views!

Ribadu, you are forgiven for naively allowing yourself to be used by a coward in the mould of a President. The message from Gani is very loud, simple and clear - "NIGERIA, another GANI I give unto thee, RIBADU continue the fight for the soul of NIGERIA".

For being courageous, as it was handded down to you by the late legal icon, Nuhu remain focus on what you are doing, Nigerians are behind you. If they arrest you, the country would have been on fire by now. From Yar'Adua, Turai, Ibori, Aondoaka, their total summation is corruption. They are buy time truth shall prevail

Wole and all his cohorts are illegal aliens into Nigeria. They only adopted nigerian names. We are not folled, their ambition is to run nigeria down with their tribalistic leanings and flagrant ignorance and low self esteem. Gani (RIP), our bastion of hope has gone home...Nuhu Ribadu is alive and will still rule this country...the likes of wole and his cohorts had better make plans to leave the country...cos like or not, Nuhu is a HERO and you can't take it away from Nigeria....Grow up Wole and team...Nigeria doesn't need you

Posted by Albert Olumese on Sep 11 2009

He was maligned. He was called names. He was harrased. He was demoted. He was made an invalid and showed the way out of police service. But his vist to a legal iconoclast who is now resiting in the lord and surge of admirers that came to see him and catch a glimpse of him, has proved his true stature, of a man though, beaten, but not defeated. It shows, that his input and implication of his actions during his time at he hels of affairs @ the efcc, was wide spread and very well felt and appreciated by the majority of nigerians who by reason of poverty do not have the state machinery to speak out and or force things to go their way as it ought to. It shows that, Nuhu Ribadu, is a man, who might some day resurface to run for the highest office in the land. But i know the enemies of Nigeria will do all in their power to frustrate such ambition. But, i dare them not to, to prove the rest of us wrong, that they indeed have dont have anything to hide. Ribadu, you came on board, gave your best and the impact of your effort to sanitize our country is not lost on us! We truly do appreciate you!. The likes of Waziri, Aandooaka, Ibori and their ilks cover their heads in shame.

The accolades Gani is getting now that he is dead, a type I have never before witnessed. The kind of commotion Ribadu's presence at Gani funeral caused tell me only one thing - that Nigerians know when people are doing the correct thing. What then is holding us?

Posted by odoh abraham on Sep 11 2009

Its a truism that people like Gani come once in a generation.Imagine Bob Marley,Gandhi,Mandela etal. They come to serve and probably engender vision in a peolple and then like the comet,at the height of their glory, they fade into non-existence,leaving behind memories, indeed sweet memories of their impactful pasts.Such do not actually die. They leave to live in the hearts of those they have affected. Now,Ribadu is very much in the ilk of these people. They come as natural risk takers, even at risk to their lives and welfare. They come as individuals whose vision of life is one in which comfort is only defined as it relates to the generality, and not neccesarily about an individuals vantaged station. They are incurably governed and driven by solid principles that are in most cases miscontrued. They are fearless even to the point of death. Its quite unfortunate that we live in a society in which vices like mediocirity and avarice seem to be assuming more laudable places of honor,at risk to the time honoured virtues of truth, courage and selfless pursuit of the common good. It will amaze you that there are still many more Ganis and Ribadus in our society waiting to be stirred to life by the show of selflessness in those that have gone ahead of us.. All they need are displays of uneqivocal courage such as Nuhu Ribadu just demonstrated. There is still hope for Nigeria,no matter what the cynics will say. More Ribadus will emerge again-by transference of spirit. He who went will still return[possibly in us].Just a matter of of time.

Nigerians should not listen to fools like Wole and his likes, they talk before reasoning or thinks, that’s why he can offered that comments, he lacks wisdom and never knows the real truth in any situations, but wait for edited version of news from his friends, thank God that people that are wise, well informed and learned, are now using the internet to correct people like wole, also to put him and others like him in their rightful places, where they belong to be seen in the society but never to be heard in the mist of intelligent personnel’s. Why for Pete sake will some one mention religion and tribal issues in article like this, am sure wole's type will be the one that use racism issues not to achieve greatness if he's living abroad, a pathetic, an excuse of a human being.

Some of these folks pretend as if its going to take a saint to inspire change in Nigeria. Ribadu may not have been perfect but you cannot deny the mark he left on the Nigeria psyche. Whoever is going to lead the charge to wrestle power from the corrupt is going to embody the good and bad of human nature. No one is perfect, get use to it.

I hope Ribadu is learning and humbling himself from all the emotions Nigerians have poured on him .Apart from few instances where Obasanjo tried to mess him up by sending him after perceived enemies, i think the young did well. The way he left the police force is very hilarous, exemplary and legendry. This out burst of emotion shows that Ribadu still has hope of being relevant in this great country. Dont mind the likes of Aandoaka who is at best lawyer to all known 419ners and looters of nation's treasury.I dont know why Yardua is still keeping such blemish man in his so called trasparent, rule of law and holie than thou regime.Until the likes of Ibori, Odili,Orji Uzor Kalu vommit all the looted money,Aandoaka will never have rest, even in his grave.

To expect Ribadu or any mortal for that matter to be an angel is ridiculous and warpped. Critics should leave Ribadu alone, he's a human being, not an angel! But we should remember that he fought Tafa Balogun, his Police IG boss to extinction and that is one of the problems he had with the police apparatus till today. Are we saying Tafa too was innocent or a political detactor? I don't care where the people he fought daringly came from, but the main concern is: were they not thieves? Did they not steal? Ribadu was a revolutionist because he came from nowhere to stifle the scourge of kleptomania in governance. But unfortunately, his momentum has been lost and consigned to "awada keri keri" or at best a circus show, by Yar' Adua and his clownish Attorney General. Let's do this: let Nigerins raise 25 Ribadu's in government, Nigeria would never be the same. In early July 2009, the EFCC released the names of 56 Nigerians who collectively stole over N243 Billion from the nation's treasury. And this is just the tip of the iceberg if names like the notorious ex-governors are added. But unfortunately, nothing has happened to them because these are the people who bank-rolled Yar' Adua and nominated his Attorney General to the pinnacle of governance. I am sure we have not heard the last from Ribadu, his time will still come and by then Nigeria will have been in the hands of "their own elected people" because nobody really elected the present/past usurpers at Aso Rock and the National Assembly too. One day for the thief, one day for the owner, and again..."one day one day, monkey go go market,he no go come back".shikena!

The underserved adulation of a crooked, despotic, clanish and fake anti-corruption "fighter" by the internet mob goes to show how gullible we Nigerians are. Those of you dreaming of a Ribadu "leadership" will be shocked to discover that Ribadu is IBB, Abacha and Obasanjo all rolled into one. He is a first-class pretender and master of the art of farce and cheap PR. He is deceiving you that he is on "exile"? Can any of you show us where in the world that a man wanted by the state dead or alive can enter the country and leave in broad day light without molestation? Nigerians pls open your eyes. Ribadu is one and the same with this government. Ribadu is a child of this rotten establishment. Ribadu helped in foisting this govt on us. In fact, he is a favorite child of the establishment. He is deceiving you people that he is being persecuted by the govt. Can anyone of you show me where Ribadu is on record for critising this govt? As you're reading this all his family members, immediate and extended are all working for this govt (and looting as well). I beg you people to grow out your childish fantasies. Ribadu is too far from being the messiah that the mob think that he is. He is an ORIGINAL FAKE.

What about the houses, the women, stolen money, checks not cashed and selective judgment? Didn't this man refuse to attend his trial because he was on a study leave in London? If that is not insubordination, what is? What a fake low life idiot that man Ribadu is and the whole Nigerian Nation online is idolizing him. Your standards are indeed very low.

If the government really wants to arrest Ribadu they would have held him at the airport. When Jonathan Elendu came to Nigeria last year he was arrested and his passport seized. He had to spend more than 6 months in the country. And Sowore Omoyele of Sahara Reporters cannot dare nearing Nigeria for the fear of arrest. They're not looking for Ribadu otherwise he would not have made it past the Immigration at the airport. We are so hungry for heroes that we fall easily fall for a wrong one. Ribadu is a thief and a Northern demagogue. He was only smart to deceive people like Falana, Gani Famehinmi and Soyinka by reaching out to them personally and "begging" them to support his fight against corruption. It is a happy thing that Ribadu came to pay last respects to Gani. It is a manifestation of that boldness for which Ribadu is known - a virtue shared with Gani and some other compatiots. Today, the wolves may be enjoying themselves and pretending to omnipotence but there is a future! When the right time comes, they will be on the run - that is hoping that our perennial short memory syndrome does not change it; the kind of shortness of memory that allows now persons like Babangida and Buhari to pretend celebrating/mourning and commending Gani and people listen to them at all without booing them. One day, our Nigeria will emerge.

@Soji & others; the more u guys responds to Wole and his co travellers Gospel of doom then u allow them sense of importance. This same Wole is chief among those who refused to see anything wrong in Akingbola`s & co fleecing of our financial system. Let them continue to sing ethnicity, Religion and Nothernisation thats their problems, the most important thing is that the train of change is moving and whosoever refused to join would be sorry for himself. As for Ade, Gideon in London he does not deserve a response cos if he feel so strongly about NAIJA he should come down & lets salvage it together. Most of the negative commentators if allowed 10% of Ribadu opportunity at EFCC by now we would have been pleading with Yaradua & co to give posthumous awards to Lawrence Anini and Ishola Oyenusi. Akingbola & co are accused of manipulating the financial system thereby committing economic crime and some fictitious people are screaming ethnicity. The question is were they culpable of Manipulation? as for Adenuga mentioned somewhere here, has he been able to tell Nigerians he is not fronting IBB, has he been able to convince us how he couldn`t secure a GSM license with million of $S but he could secure a GSM license, Gateway license and a stream of other Telcom rights with a fraction of his initial bid for a GSM license. When OBJ was using Ribadu to hunt Atiku & co where were guys to shout southern agenda. My brothers and sisters there are no agendas anywhere, greed is the oil of corruption engine and it knows no race. Wherever a thief comes from is immaterial, we should just support their prosecution. The truth is that this guys are more dangerous than armed robbers. @ NAIJA NA WA, if u claimed not to have seen where Ribadu criticise this Govt; then I guess is either u a been mischievous or you don`t pay attention to news both electronic & print or you a not resident in this planet. As for Dangote & co misdeeds, just leave them alone, their cup shall overflow soon and they also shall scream victimisation but we would not listen. God bless u all. Regards

Hold your breath. How do you expect Ribadu to step into Gani's shoes? Gani wasn't appointed by any government for the role he carved for himself. Unlike Ribadu who was a government appointee. Before Ribadu was appointed by Obasanjo, did you know there was any Ribadu living or dead, apart from a Ribadu road in Ikoyi? Whatever Ribadu represents, he certainly can't claim to be more than a minion to Gani.

Nuhu Ribadu has exhibited profound nobility by this gesture. There is hope yet in the realisation of Gani's Nigeria.

The first 5 pple Ribadu prosecuted were OBJ's friends. He had documents on everyone else. It was one case after the other. You cannot fight on so may fronts at once. You choose your battles. Let me warn all of you, the data on all are still available. It is not over until it is over!!!

A living dog is better than a dead lion so said the philosophers. But in the case of Gani, the reverse is the case.Gani is dead, but his legacy is paying him homage that makes him live forever.Gani was a good epitome of a true Nigerian, we can never forget him...

@ Ade, Gideon, Your allegations on Ribadu, Are these facts or beer parlour gist? Please provide us with hard facts, name the women, give the addresses of the properties, etc, Any idiot can accuse anyone of malpratice, the difference is you must show evidence to support your allegations.

Ribadu is an ordinary man destined for the extra-ordinary. Do not awe him; its his destiny.

i just think what mallam ribadu did is absolutely deep

Gani faced his adversaries: the successive governments that Ribadu served loyally and faithfully. Ribadu ran into "exile" because he was called to account for his stewardship. A fake hero and his misguided admirers.

MAY GANI's SOUL REST IN PEACE OF ALMIGHTY GOD I have said it many times, RIBADU will head Nigerian police one day. If I am made president today, be sure of this as no.1 appointment. Nigeria we hail thee....Our own dear native land

Not many people can demonstrate the leadership quality of a true legend like Gani or the likes of Ribadu, and El-Rufai. The Lord bless those who have led us well and beliueve in the good course of shaping Nigeria's future and its youth into a fruitful one.

@Obalola: Pls be specific. Tell us where Ribadu is on record for critising this government except for those watery anti-corruption craps that any fool on the street can reharsh. Ribadu WILL NEVER say any serious thing against this govt. He is a born govt pikin. You guys are just being naive and predictably childish.

Wole & Co, especially dish washer from London, please do your research well before you comment on national issues. Why did you run to London, why can't you stay here and witness what these thieves has turn Nigeria to. You are so shameless that you wrote from London about happenings in Nigeria. Anyhow you look at it, Ribadu is better than ALL these thieves, remember he was appointed by OBJ so how can he prosecute OBJ and his friends? Why can't Yar'Adua use him AGAINST OBJ's friends if he is sincere about fighting corruption, am sure Ribadu will do it whole heartedly. All the contracts that you people said Ribadu did not investigate, what if OBJ has a hand in them? Please think and stop judging the man, he can't solve all our problems in 4 years. So, since he left EFCC, are we better of? Please think.

What is Ribadu and his ally in crime, Rufai, living on abroad? The savings they made while working as for the federal government? Southern Nigerians are the most naive Africans!!!!!!!

Posted by Eko o ni Baje on Sep 15 2009

Hamid, maybe you have an answer to Nigeria problems. f you do, please say it in this forum and lets know how intelligent you are. Some of you don't have any good thing to offer but are expert in rubbishing every sincere effort of others. Ribadu is not a saint but can you do it better. This has been Nigeria problem since independence, ALL our past leaders were condemned at one time or the other not by genuine Nigerians but by disgruntulled elements like Hamid. Please tell us the solution to our problems, maybe you are our messiah.
