The management of the Nigerian Stock Exchange will on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 host the Chief Executive Officers of all quoted companies.
Sola Oni, Assistant General Manager of the NSE's Corporate Affairs Department, said in a statement that the management concluded the arrangement as an effort to make the market attain full recovery.
"The forum is to examine the current economic climate, especially as it affects the Capital Market; taking into consideration their effects on stakeholder. It would provide a top level interactive session whereby CEOs would discuss the efforts being put in place to improve shareholder value," the statement noted.
It added that the meeting would "strengthen the relationship between the Exchange and listed companies."
