For the updated reader, Amazon has thrown in a web browser and the ability to store photos and MP3s.

The Kindle also boldly challenges the laptop with added features that make it a very handy portable device. It reads Word, HTML, text, and JPEG files, making it easier for you to access the things you need to in one convenient, comfortable environment.
Even horror writer, Stephen King is supposedly creating a story exclusively for the Kindle. The story is rumoured to be based on a Kindle-like reading device. The announcement concerning this team-up is expected to come at the same time that Amazon unveils the second-generation Kindle.
Due for a February 24th release, the new Amazon Kindle retails at $359 (approximately N52,055).
