A Nigerian militant group said it had attacked a Royal Dutch Shell oil pipeline in the Niger Delta but the Anglo-Dutch company said it had no reports of any such sabotage.

The Joint Revolutionary Council (JRC), a coalition of ex-militants and community leaders, said in a statement it had disabled a trunk line in the Obunoma area of Rivers State connecting several flow stations to the Bonny export terminal.

An Open Letter To The Federal Government."KIDNAPPING/MILITANCY" The issue falls under the axis of misconception thereby creating ethical calamities btw the two tribes(Izon&Urhobor) who have unknownly pointing fingers @ the Izons who might be innocent/ignorant of the allerged allegation against them."If sea piracy or militancy can be traced,it shouldn't only or specifically traced to the Izons", Izon to a large extend in militancy is focussed on resource control struggle, it gears toward evenly distribution of economic realities, struggling for survival of the Izons and to be identified as an existing nation in Nigeria which embodies riches of natural blessings from God.A request from the Izons to the federal Govt to put an end for blackmail rather checkmating the hoodlums and kidnappers which might be wrongly accusing the Izons.ha!!
