The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, has said that the continuation of tensions between Chad and Sudan have stalled regional peace efforts.
Speaking in New York on Tuesday, Ban also said that the situation had prolonged the humanitarian crisis in both nations.
He, however, called for a reinvigoration of ``meaningful peace efforts'', to guarantee stability in the region.
