Any kidnapper caught in Kaduna State will be sentenced to life imprisonment with no option of fine, stated the state Governor, Namadi Sambo.
Mr. Sambo stated this on Thursday, while receiving Charles Chikezie, the Director of the National Institute of Public Information (NIPI) and students of the institute, who visited him.
He said an executive bill had been sent to the state House of Assembly for consideration and would soon be passed.
Mr. Sambo said he was personally making contacts with the Speaker and members of the state legislative arm to ensure a speedy passage of the bill.
