The Daytime Smokey-eye look

The perfect eye makeup for the modern-traditional effect, is the smokey eye. This look is predominately for evenings, but you can recreate it into a day look by using brown shadows instead of black. Here are some tips:

a. Day time smokey eye: Start by applying concealer underneath the eye, over the brow bone, and by the inner corner of the eye.

b. Using a light brown shadow, fill in the top inner region of the eye. Then, working towards the outer part, darken the outer region with a dark brown eyeshadow.

c. Finish by applying a few coats of mascara and lining the eyes with dark eyeliner (for a more natural look) or black eyeliner.
