The interrogation of Muhammad Yusuf

Print print Email email Share Share

Slain leader of the ‘Boko Harem' Islamic sect, Muhammad Yusuf was interrogated after his arrests by the Nigerian security forces.

Watch the interrogation here

The interogration was in the Hausa language, and the translation as provided by Kadaria Ahmed is given below:

Q: Yesterday, we visited your house, we saw lots of animals, livestock, injections and (whisper from another person, bomb making material). Some material, what exactly do you need all these things for
MY: All these things are for my protection.

Q: Your protection, but we have law enforcement agencies why do you need to protect yourself?
MY: But it is the law enforcement agencies that are fighting me.

Q: So why do you think the law enforcement agencies are fighting you.
MY: I don't know, but it may be to do with my belief in Islam.

Q: But I am also a Muslim
MY: That is why I don't know why you are fighting me.

Q: Is it true that you believe western education is a sin
MY: Of course it is a sin .

Q: How can you say it is a sin, the trousers you are wearing....interrupts the question
MY: These are made from cotton, which is one of Allah's materials.

Q: But Allah said we should seek knowledge, it is in the Koran, even the surah Iqra- interrupts
MY: Yes but not the sort of knowledge that goes contrary to the teachings of Islam, any knowledge that contradicts the Islam is not allowed by Allah.... *unintelligible*. Astronomy is a kind of knowledge but Allah has forbidden it .

Q: But when we went to your house we found several things including computers and some medical equipment, are these not all fruits of education?
MY: What your saw are materials used by blacksmiths, not western education, which is a different thing entirely.

Q: So how come you eat good food, look at you looking very healthy, drive a decent car, dress well, you eat well but you do not allow your followers to do the same, instead you encourage them to sell all their things and survive on dates and water ,well?
MY: It is not true. Everybody lives according to their means. Even amongst all of you, things are not the same among you. If you see someone in a nice car, he can afford it. Others can't afford it.

Q: This wound where did he get it? This is during the escape.....(*lots of noise*) (Keep quiet , keep quiet)

Q: Why did you leave your Mosque?
MY: Because you people came to harass us?

Q: But you sent your followers into what was effectively hell ,shouldn't you have stayed with them?
MY: All my followers have also left

Q: They left to go where?
MY: They left....

Q: What of those who came out to fight?
MY: Which ones?

Q: So now where and where do you have followers?
MY: They have all been scattered by low enforcement officers?

Q: Where and where exactly do you have followers? Apart from those in this town, where else do you have followers?
MY: I have followers in Bauchi, the police attacked them and scattered them, they are in Gombe, the police raided their homes and scattered them, some were in Adamawa, Yola, they were also attacked by the police. I have followers in Taraba, they were also attacked by the police, it was only after all this was done that we reacted.

Q: Where happened to your arm?
MY: I fell down.

Q: In this town itself, how many headquarters do you have?
MY: We only have one, the one you know

Q: What about branches?
MY: We have branches in Gwange, *unintelligible*.

Q: How about your deputy, we understand you are well organized with Lieutenants and all, who is your deputy?
Q: You do have a deputy, right
MY: Yes

Q: Who is he?
MY: Mallam Abubakar Shakauw.

Q: Where is he?
MY: I don't know.

Q: Where is your mobile phone, why didn't you call him?
MY: *unintelligible*.

Q: We understand that you tried to escape along with a few other of your deputies, who are they and where are they?
MY: *unintelligle*

Q: Do you have people helping you wage this Jihad, either within or outside Nigeria?
MY: No, nobody, nobody at all.

Q: Tell the truth
MY: Nobody, nobody, INSHA ALLah...*unintelligible*.

Q: I understand you have a farm, somewhere in ...... *unintelligible*
MY: Yes.

Q: Now you have caused the death of some innocent people...unintelligible
MY: Those who killed innocent people have blood on their hands, that is not my problem.

Q: What about your followers that killed people?
MY: My people did not kill anyone.

Q: So who did they kill...*unintelligible*
MY: Those who killed my followers....*unintelligible*

Q: Where are you from?
MY: I am from Yobe

Q: Where in Yobe?
MY: *unintelligible*

Q: What of your Mother where is she from?
MY: Gashuwa.

Q: Have you ever travelled out of the country?
MY: Just to Saudia Arabia for Hajj.

Q: When was this?
MY: 2000, 2003,2004

Military spokesperson: Gentlemen, it is ok, can you please leave, can we have some breathing space, everybody out.

You guys really tried with the translation of the interrogation. Daily Trust did the same, and got most the wordings right (may be because they are mostly Hausa people)...can't you lift from them, since journalists sometimes share materials? But once again, well done for letting the world know!

I never believes that Nigeria is a fell state until the judicial killings that happened recently on those that are refer to as "Boko Haram". I thought that these people despite the lack of evidences on many things they are saying, they still have to be listened to. Their killings is not a total solution to the problem rather it will compound it. Nigeria is country where nothing is working. Nothing, yes nothing is working in Nigeria, even now that I am writing these lines I am on my generator which causes many health hazards in the environment I'm living, but I dont have any other alternative. The level of insecurity in Nigeria is getting to a level that even a "Hawker" can't sleep well because he's afraid that the portion he earned on the sun can be snatch any moment by the hoodlums or arm robbery. What do you tihnk if these people comes out and said that "Boko is Haram" because the people that are looting their money from local, state and federal coppers are all taught by western education. But sooner rather than later the Nigerian leaders would believe that they are dealers not leaders.

One opinion writer claimed recently that Yar'Adua has lost control of the country. I beg to differ. Yar’Adua never had control of the country. So, he cannot loose what he never had. The well-clad and well-fed thieves needed a cover to do a number on Nigeria and they settled for an amiable man with little or no ability to govern the complex nation called Nigeria. So, as expected he fiddled when the nation burns. Mallam Yar’Adua is cut from the same cloth as Mallam Shehu Shagari. That said, Nigerians have no one to blame but themselves. Sooner or later the country will assemble for the conference of nationalities as our own Wole Soyinka and others have suggested. The marriage between North and South is not working out for Nigeria. The periodic orgy of violence which always start in the North is an indication that you do not mix oil and water in room temperature. The southern politicians are fooling themselves if they believe that Islamic North and Christian South will coexist without this period violence from this “peaceful” religion. You need to ask yourself a simple question: why is it that in any place around the world where the moslems are in majority, the minority groups are always fighting for their lives? One option for Nigeria may need to go back to regional arrangement as an interim condition and each region during this time will hold a plebiscite to decide whether they will like be part of the New Nigeria, just as western Cameroon did and they chose to join Cameroon instead of Nigeria. Many of the states in Nigeria today are not economically viable. How about the oil revenue you may ask? A temporary arrangement could be made where the Deltans could sell the oil to the regions at a deeply discounted rate for a limited period of time, may be twenty years, as the issue of nationhood is resolved. People who care about people of Nigeria will need to take this proposal seriously. It may be advantageous for the North to join with Niger an form a single nation as 56% of Nigeriennes is Hausa, if our people in the North decide not form a corporate entity with the Southerners. They already have cultural linkage with the people of Niger. If this bull is not taken by the horns, the situation in Nigeria will get worse, and the needless bloodshed will continue to tarnish the image of Nigerians and thwart her development.

Muhammad Yusuf was my next door neigbour before he was prejudicially murdered. He was a creation of society that is infested with leaders that are corruption ridden, greedy and lawless. "Boko Haram" simply means: if what the present crop of Nigerian leaders present: corruption, greed, nepotism and lawlessness are what they are taught by the western civilisation, then that kind of knowledge is nothing but a prohibitive knowledge. We all know what kind of leaders we have in Nigeria today. Leaders who steal everything in the collective till and impoverish the general society. There is no electricity, no portable water, hospitals are empty - no doctors, no drugs. No security, no, no, no, no,no everything. As if to prove Muhammad Yusuf right, they extra-judicially murdered him. Here is man whom the authority said committed a crime against the state. The state has constitution and the constitution stated he should be prosecuted but instead he was summarily executed. Who is who?

Interviewer you did a great job but in United states he will be kept alive to find more about his organization and try to stop such Talibanism from ever existing in Nigeria again

Posted by Felix Umezurike on Aug 05 2009

Sir, I'm very much ashame of what is going on in our dear beloved country.Fews days ago, we in across over the Atlantic saw what was happening in Nigeria. Now that Mr.Muhammad Yusuf is dead, how shall we know the king-pins behind these culprits. Hopefully, there are finenciers to these organizations. My questions are -are we save now? How about our infractures, such like hotels, public places and our transportation systems? Hush-hush revenge does not serve any good to anyone. Our leaders must impliment due process on how to handle unexpected situations.

Posted by Abiodun Giwa on Aug 05 2009

From the interview above, it is clear that the Muhammed Yusuf was arrested alive. There is an information circulating that he was summarily assassinated after his arrest. If it is true, it is another crime by the Nigerian state. No matter the crime he may have committed, the police was supposed to ensure he was given adequate medical attention to avoid his death in the custody. No Nigerian is supposed to be condemned of any crime until proven guilty in a court of law. What fear may have driven the government to order his elimination is a taboo which every sane Nigerian know to be part of the Nigerian Government machinery to silent dissent, either positve or otherwise. Few days prior to October 19 1986, Dele Giwa was invited to Halilu Akilu's office at the DMI where he was accused of planning a socialist revolution and alleged arms importation. He was talking to his lawyer toward going to court to clear his name when he was summarily assassinated; Abiola won a presidential election, rather than allow him to rule,he was arrested and treated like a condemned criminal. At the end of the day, he died in the Police custody. Is the government in Abuja going to say Yusuf did not die in Police custody after all indications that he was arrested, subjected to an interview, and the most important aspect of ensuring he remained alive to go before a court of law was usurped by the Police. That he was not allowed necessary medical attention or was summarily shot by the Police, is unfair to humanity.

this is interrogation is an incomplete trsh.yusufs only sin is that western education is a sin, right?and he was killed because of this?is he worst than the politicians who took oath in naked? naked in oath to steal our money.he sinned more than ikedis who jumped from one party to another.this is peoples mandateto them?nhu, ejay writing from china-philippiness. we are ashamed down here.

Posted by Truth on Aug 05 2009

What most bothers me apart from the fact that this man may have been assassinated by the state, is the interrogation itself that was conducted by a supposed member of law enforcement. Who conducts these kinds of interrogation in this day and age? We are so ill equipped in every sphere of our society. 50 years later we still are such morons. Wow what a society? What a waste

I strongly believe that if Mr Yusuf was still alive be him in custody or at large, the group would still be fighting either free him from Jail or towards the curse till this very minute, Having said that, I will have to applaud the Nigerian Police Force for curbing this issue and setting fourth (thought unlawfully) an example for others to learn from, when you attack and kill a uniformed police in Nigeria, you will be executed. I don't think anyone is going to try that again in the near future. I know everyone is all uptight about the Police killing him but lets be sincere, in which country? or which country's force would let him make it to court? definitely not even in the USA nor any other developed nation, so please give the Nigerian Police a break, they may not know how to cover up like others but at-least they could curb a 4 prong all out war with the so called Nigerian Taliban and execute its leader in a matter of days, lol.

Posted by Keem on Aug 05 2009

Don you must be a moron. I wonder which school gave people like you education. You cannot even think out of the box. You must have been a policeman I guess. Those who summarily executed Yusuf are as guilty as him. Please when sane people talk, if you have nothing to say you can help yourself and everyone's sensibility by just keeping silent. Give us a break please

This is what passes for a criminal interrogation in Nigeria? God help us.

Posted by Dr Mayo on Aug 05 2009

I don't believe Koresh that was killed in a gun battle in the USA was a creation of corrupt America. Man is always architech of his futune or misfutune. Northern Nigeria has a very bad & a notorious history of not punishing those who claim to fight for God. Musa Makaniki of the Maitatsine is still alive since his capture in 1984, those who were arrested in Kano, Kaduna, Jos & Maiduguri were all released. These kind of people feel that they're protected. Boko Haram should be asked why they bomb Churches & Mosques since they said they're fighting the State. If he is kept in custody his backers can still find their way to finish him. I sincerely find no problem with his execution. If they are been killed that, relgious uprising in the North would have been a thing of the past. Lack of this kind of action has incouraged the importation of Chadians, Nigeriens into the North for the sake of religious violence. You ought to be in the North and see what's happening. We are backward in everything & yet distroying the little that we managed to put together. No matter what's going, no one is incouraged to take laws into his hands. We still have the Guru Maharaji's of this world claiming to be God & so on no one has killed them because they did not take arms against those who opposed them. The North must rise up to this cahllenge or else what they allow will one day swallow up the entire Northern Nigeria.

What a great nation (Nigeria) fading away? Things are falling apart, the centre cannot hold because of corruption and mismanagement at its apex by all. We are faced with the following vices: No good road, pipe bore water, electricity, education, high rate of robbery, kidnapping, abominable things. Many reputable companies had left Nigeria for Ghana because of no electricity to our shame. Let us awake (all Nigerians) and rebuild our blessed country from total collapse by shunning evil in your little corner where we find ourself. God bless Nigeria.

This issue really shows how backward Nigeria is in terms of Human Capital development. Poverty indeed is making people to create things to destroy not only them, but people around them. this is the case of boko haram. May God deliver us from poverty in Nigeria.

Next time I would prefer another Boko Haram that would face Senator Mark and his fellow looters in the senate, Yar, adua and his federal executive looters, Maurice Iwu with his fellow election riggers, all past leaders who useless Nigeria money meant for Ajaokuta steel company take off, all the money for electricity and road projects, all the church leaders and Imams that worship money and armed robbers who called themselves politicians in Nigeria, university lecturers that sell even marks to buy Jeep forgeting their primary roles, then in turn even copy other people research to become illitrate Nigeria proffesor. Please God hear us and deliver this nation you had already made great.

Absolute demenstration of craz,a characteristics of greedy leaders fighting for tomorrow when they are still in the yesterdays. In my little environment,i found peace of mind when ever i set my eyes on the American flag...why? because it is a symbol of the world unity politicaly. The youths of this land may have hope but true speaking our hope has been joepardized. It is so sadning and so heart disheartning that we still have the likes of Boko-Aram in our midst; who consider the killing of their fellow being a worthy course. Their claim about westernization is a sign of their backwardness and if for any reason they have to fight that course they should direct their course in the right direction, I mean they should channel their course towards the Brittons who brought westernization. I personally will have consider it a worthy course if they have decided to face our corrupt leaders, as a matter of fact I would have join the group to champion course of fighting the so called currupt leaders and their likes in the various fielf of life. That was left undone, but their fellow struggling citizens now becomes their target. It does not really make sense. If such a man should escape death, there is no doubt that he would NOT re-inforce himself again and at that time, the damage and killing of the innocent ones will be on the increase. I quite share the view of Zac who spoke about the like of Guru Maraji, despite people's rejection of him and his believe; he is solo about his believe. I think I am not indifferent about the killing.

As it is said by Moh'd Yusuf in the above interrogation "I have followers in Bauchi, the police attacked them and scattered them, they are in Gombe, the police raided their homes and scattered them, some were in Adamawa, Yola, they were also attacked by the police. I have followers in Taraba, they were also attacked by the police, IT WAS ONLY AFTER THIS WAS DONE THAT WE REACTED". and from what I heard from the interview with Bauchi state governor by BBC hausa radio where the governor said "they said they are going to fight us, are we going to fold our arm for them to come and killed us. I told ADC to Borno state governor, that he should tell his governor that, THIS IS WHAT WE PLANNED TO DO IN BAUCHI ". This is what the governor said before the event in Bauchi. This statement from Bauchi governor tells us that he planned the elimination of the followers of Mohammed Yusuf as against what they told the world that it is Mohammed Yusuf people who started attacking the police. This is also confirm by the quoted statement from Mohammed Yusuf. I therefore conclude that the whole episode was Bauchi State governor's planned elimination of followers of Mohammed Yusuf who he sees as threat to him for whatever reason known to him. Another important question is that, in all the interviews with wifes of those Mohammed Yusuf followers caught in Maiduguri, they said they are in maiduguri for studies. The important question is that, will they go to maiduguri with there wifes and children if truely they are going there for a war? The obvious answer to this question is No. The main question here isthat. If I said western education is sinful and I will not go to school. Did I commit a crime that police and state will kill me and destroy my house? To me what caused all this problem is the ways state governors will just take bulldozzers and destroyed people's houses and mosques and sometimes kill them just because they are suspecting them. Mohammed Yusuf himself was taken to court before, but the police and the state could not provide any evidence of his crime and he was released. The problem is that the police will not be satisfied of your innocence when they suspect you even if they could not provide any evidence of your crime. Now some governors embarked on demolishing some people's houses and mosques in states like Gombe, Kano, Sokoto and Borno, just if they suspect that you have something to do with Mohammed Yusuf. Where is the justice in that? The consequencies of that will be possible suicide bomb attacks. What we are seeing in Iraq and Pakistan. When you will not give chance to somebody who you suspect to defend himself but just go ahead to kill him and demolish his house. He must fight back, that is what exactly Mohammed Yusuf and his followers did in maiduguri when the police started attacking them in other places. Now that it was proved that they can not fight back openly, if this injustice of demolishing their house and killing without trial continued the next option left for them is suicide bomb attacks as we have already seen effords of making bombs by some. The suggestion is that don't demolish their houses, don't kill them, take them to court and prove their crime if you don't want to turn nigeria to Iraq or Pakistan.

Nigerians should learn how to share blames, not every thing on the president. On this Yusuf animosity which demonizes Nigeria Islamic version the more as a Religion of killing and burning of people property. We should learn how to comment strongly on activities of all the state govs, comissioners, federal legislators, extravagant ministers, docile ambassadors, custom officers who illegally confiscate people goods and share among their fat belly officers, what about the immidiate past IG of police, can he claim he did not hear of BOKO HARAM before his retirement.I only pity the road block Nigeria young police officers as their 20 naira daily collections from road users had made them the most corrupt individuals and irresponsible as their OGA politicians. We should therefore leave Yar,adua alone for afterall he earlier told us he was not prepared for this journey.

We are playing with fire in this country. Where is human right. Even if it was true that this man was in contrary to western education, is it enough fot kill him and several innocent muslims. There is more to it than what we were being told. Most christians would want all nigeria to accept JESUS and they say all the time, same applies to Muslims, but I would never accept some groups fighting other people with different faith to accept their believe. Those who had taken advantage of killing innocent people shall be punished sinmply because they disagreed with them. There is nothing like western education, education should not be labelled with particular part of the world. eudcation belong to all human race. They may have got this man wrong, western value is different from what people call western education. I studied in the west and I am not in line with all western values and i think the same applies to most nigerians. Lets all live together in peace. I think people are being deceived, they are fighting Islam. No one can defeat Islam.

The brutal murder of Mohammed Yusuf by coward nigerian police men was a great insult on our international reputation, it has just been confirmed that no single individual is safe in the country, even at the police headquaters where we supposed to have maximum security,i think the IG needs to take his exit if actually he is serving his country and not to enrich himself with his poition.

I believed that this man acted for attention. You can see that Government is rallying round seeking for ways to calm the situation in Niger Delta. Discussing amnesty, money and the rest. He tought that they will brought him to Kuje guest house for negotiation. Death serves him right as he fell to the hands of illiterate officers they used their quack discretion. Similar jungle decision happened in Anambra in the past as Eddy Killer Nawgu. Maybe they people that silenced him permanently lost some of their loved ones and took the decision in revenge. He who kills by sword will face the same.

From the interview above I find out that the yussuf was a stupid man that is been used by some rich and intelligent Nigeria. Those who killed them are part of the conspiracy. Let some intelligent Nigeria Police question those who killed Yusuf without trial, it will be understood that it is coverup. Nigeria is in decay, I am so sorry for the generations to come.

I love what the police did to Yusuf Mohammed. I think killing him was the right thing. Remember that this Yusuf was once arrested but was later silently released. so the same thing would have taken place.

I am amazed that so many know about corruption in Nigeria and on paper rally against it yet when it comes to voting still continue to put the same corrupt people in positions of influence. If one took a straw poll amongst the Nigerian people and they spoke the truth the majority only rally against corruption because they are not in a position to benefit from that corruption. Most of them have an aspiration to be in a position to benefirt either directly or indirectly from corrupt practices. It is only when the Rule of Law is applied in an equitable manner that Nigeria will be the great country that we all want it to be and organisations like Boko Harem will not beable to gather supporters who out of misguided fustration seek to work against the state of Nigeria

this is what I like about this country, we always have a way of playing down on major issues and magnify the aspects that are most irrelevant to our polity. Hundreds of lives that God created for a purpose have been wasted in the name of religion, some who should know better have even thrown it back at the government as being responsible. we have said that poverty and ignorance is the cause of the killings, we have said its western education, but what have innocent lives and christians got to do with all that?, we should call a spade a spade and stop fooling around. We should learn as a nation to discourage madness as a way of life. We have lost too much by our wrong choices and stupidity by siding with the wrong things just because of our small minds. No one will encourage extra-judicial killing, but still no one should encourage indiscriminate killing and loss of lives and property perpetuated by ignorance and madness of one man. Agreed, we dont have a government. So let us learn to be guided by our conscience. We are crying out loud for one unlawful killing, but who remembers and cry out for the Thousands indiscriminately and sinfully killed???????????

When the people in government who loot the National Treasury to enrich themselves; the same people who sponsor criminal activities, turn a blind eye when the citizens gnash their teeth but when the truth of their misdeeds become a matter of national(haba! international)embarassment they quickly send their robobts to go clear up the mess, are all beneficiaries of Western education, then Boko is Haram.

The point is, what happens after this? nothing the stealing continues. wish Fela were alive, would have waxed some befitting lyrics fit 4 d occassion. am really happy about boko haram, exposes the insincerity of northern elites on almajiri-ism, they keep paying lip sevice but nemesis has started, the revolution that would lift nija out of minlessly stupid and ineffective leadership would be started and sustained by these same guys (almajiris) you're keeping now.more kudos to the northern elites, see the speed they rallied fast to punch out the obnoxious yusuf.keep marrying 10,20 wifes, keep producing children you cant care for, and keep sending them out. they will eventually hunt your grandchildren. well done, sultan, and others.

@ ose, I think you need to go and brush up yourself, pls go on Google and read a bit about Islam, you are talking out of complete ignorance otherwise you should have been able to differentiate between a group hiding under Islam and what Islam itself stands for. I think the real animals are the class of ruling elites from all parts of the country who have amased so much ill gotten wealth and perpetuated poverty, corruption, unemployment etc and denied generations of access to education and information, the likes of the Boko Haram group are found in most parts of the country, just waiting for a wagon to jump in as life holds little or no meaning to them anymore due to the failure of the Nigerian state. Are the area Boys who were unleashing terror on innocent citizens any better? where are they now that the Government of Lagos state has recognised their need to live and absorbed them into gainful employment?

The whole issue of boko haram is a drama that only those involved in its production can appreciate.I think they are the same people that want us to believe that no official conspiracy exists in the matter. Why,then, did they kill Muhammad Yusuf? Also, commentators like julie sanusi williams(above)should keep aside personal prejudices(based on religious bias)and try to understand things objectively. We in the North are not in any way in need of a nation with other regions. The setup is only benefitting those in power who have no region or religion in their hearts. Please, keep aside christianity or Islam, bcos they have nothig to do with this mess.I also disagree with julie calling our regions 'Islamic North' and 'christian south'.I'm compelled to wonder if she has travelled beyond her immediate neighbourhood,at all.Its obvious, she is too myopic and under the sell of baseless propaganda.

From the comment on 'boko haram' it clearly shows how divided Nigeria is. I remember awolowo told Sir Sardauna let's 4get our differences and the latter replied let's understand our differences. Take a look at the comments by sanusi julie(julie used to be my dog's name),ose all those sentimental cowards who attach themselves to jesus christ(pbuh) who never claimed to be a christian, abuse Islam and North while the muslims are against this crime against humanity. You should know that it was North's money that was used to explore the crude, when the colonial M's wanted am agreement to be signed to give certain amount to the north the generous northerners said no we're one but now you say United We Fall Divided We Stand!!! I close with the remark of Lord Lugard who says Hausas are the ones to rule. To a lesser extent yorubas but the igbos will never rule.

the so called rule of law on nigeria is a fallacy, the gov't of Yar'adua is taking a double stand; while giving amnesty to criminals who are crippling our economy, some are brutlly murdered. there is no human rights in nigeria its a shame

Posted by Mustapha bello on Aug 28 2009

Yar'adua fear your lord nd favour d masses to enjoy like d way turai is enjoying because we are all nigerians.

Every good muslim needs to be goverend by islamic shari'a law because shari'a is one part of our body either been practiced by government as a law to abide by, or one as a human being created by Allah to fear him always nd follow His do's nd dont's even he's not leaving in an islamic shari'a practicing state. I suggest this was what Muhammad Yusuf was preaching on not prohibitting western education but the system could have been islamize by our muslim leaders. It is Allah's promise that sharia will govern d world even Yusuf is alive or not nd even d whole world fights it.

I am highly ashamed of our so called 'Islamic Scholars' especially the son of that old dead who claimed that democracy is better than the second most important pillar of Islam. My concern for the muslim ummah is that these people are not ready to tell us the truth on why Boko is Haram. Muhd Yusuf had never said that the knowledge is bad but that the system contributes to the pollution of our faith and that if the Prophet were to be alive you can not imagine him sending his beloved Fatima to ABU or BUK since he can never send her for 24hours without her muhrram. So fear ALlah you have seen how Muhd Ysf died but you don't know how you are going to die.

The era of "Maitesne" by Musa Makaniki had come and gone. "Boko Haram" by Mohammed Yusuf has become a histry. Fellow Nigerians, what possible vacsin do we have to eradicate future violent movement in our country?
