Nigeria will free rebel leader Henry Okah after he accepted the government's amnesty offer, but details of his release still needed to be worked out, a spokesman for President Umaru Yar'Adua said on Thursday.
"The president is delighted to hear that he has accepted the amnesty offer," said spokesman Olusegun Adeniyi on the sidelines of the G8 summit. "With his acceptance, he will be released when the formalities are concluded."
