State government decries illegal forest exploitation

The Cross River State government has warned the youth of Agbokim Community in Etung Local Government Area of the state, against the illegal felling of trees and the exploitation of its forests.

The chairperson of the state Task Force on Anti-Deforestation, Casmir Obock told teh youth to preserve the state’s natural forest resources, and also reiterated the government’s commitment to the sustainable management of the forest resources.
