Barcelona striker Thierry Henry and Chelsea forward Nicolas Anelka lead a strong squad of 25 players which the France national team coach, Raymond Domenech, will parade against the Super Eagles in an international friendly on June 02 in St. Etienne.
Henry won the UEFA Champions League trophy on Wednesday night against Manchester United to complete a successful season after winning the La Liga title, while Anelka won the English Premier League Golden Boot award after netting 19 goals in the just ended season.
Both players lead the Les Bleus squad of 25. The squad includes three goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders and seven attackers as released by the France national team coach at a press conference Monday evening in France.
The France squad which is expected to test the might of the Super Eagles also include Manchester United's Patrice Evra, Lyon's Karim Benzema and Franck Ribery of Bayern Munich.
The international friendly slated for Stade Geoffroy Guichard is part of both team's preparation for their respective World Cup qualifiers.
The Eagles will confront Republic of Ireland at Craven Cottage, Fulham in London on Friday before moving to France for their next friendly as they prepare to take on the Harambee Stars of Kenya on June 07 in their group B World Cup qualifier.
France will travel to confront Faroe Islands on August 12 for their next 2010 Wold Cup qualifier.
